Riverfarm Nursery has been in business for almost two decades. We are family owned and small enough to tend to your smallest request, yet large enough to fill your largest order. Our farm is nestled along the rolling hills of Oldham County, Kentucky, overlooking the beautiful Ohio River. North Central Kentucky enjoys long growing seasons with plenty of rainfall (45" - 50" annually). Our soil is some of the best in the state; a deep, well-drained Crider soil that is perfect for the growth of quality plants. We dig our trees with a Clegg spade, which delivers a cylinder shaped ball that will stand without blocks. This is especially useful for garden center and re-wholesale customers. We have a range of spade sizes from 20-inch (used for 1.75' caliper tree) to a 44-inch (used for a 4.5' caliper tree) depending on your needs. Riverfarm Nursery currently has nearly 200 acres in production and plan for more in the future. Currently, we have more than 100 varieties of trees and bushes.
